CHM Hammer Mill
The product is fed through a spacious feed inlet chute above the rotor. Centrifugal force causes the flat metal oscillating hammers attached to the rotor body to swing outward, impacting the milling material circulating inside the milling chamber. This causes the product to not only be hurled against the impact plates on the walls of the housing, but also against the classifier plate or separating grate on the floor. The final particle size is determined by the openings in the classifier plate or by the spacing of the grating. |

Wing Beater
This cross-shaped rotor is equipped with replaceable beater bars. During the milling process, the product enters the center of the machine where it collides with the beater bars. They in turn radiate the product outward onto the stator basket. The vortex created by the beater bars draws the particles up enabling them to be hit by the oncoming bars. The product fineness can be varied through the use of different stators or by adjusting the rotational speed. |
