This special type of cutting granulator has an increased number of knives in the housing as well as on the rotor.

The milling principle itself is the same: The actual product milling is carried out by the cutting knives fixed to the rotor, which are adjusted to give a defined gap between cutting knives and the stationary knives which are installed in the housing. By maximizing the rate of cutting strokes (rotor speed x number of rotary knives x number of stationary knives) and using special screen inserts, high end finenesses are also possible.

Thanks to the centric inlet geometry the product feed can take place without danger of overloading!
